The Body Shop Launches ‘Spark A Change 3.0’ Diwali Campaign with Marigold Range

01 · Celebrating Diwali with Purpose
The Body Shop, a British ethical beauty brand, has launched its ‘Spark A Change 3.0’ Diwali campaign, introducing a new film featuring actors Saachi Bindra and Saiee M. Manjrekar. The heartwarming film tells an intergenerational story of empathy and belonging, showing how even the smallest act of kindness can transform a festive celebration into a moment of connection and inclusion.
With this initiative, The Body Shop continues its legacy of combining beauty with purpose while using the festive season to highlight both joy and social responsibility.
02 · Introducing the Limited-Edition Marigold Range
As part of the campaign, The Body Shop unveiled its Marigold Bodycare range, a limited edition from The India Edit collection. Inspired by the marigold flower’s cultural significance in Indian celebrations, the collection is designed to infuse everyday self-care with festive joy.
The range features three products: Marigold Shower Gel, Marigold Body Lotion, and Marigold Body Mist. With its warm, sweet, and earthy fragrance, the collection embodies the spirit of Diwali—vibrant, uplifting, and full of life.
03 · Beauty with Purpose: A Deeper Impact
Speaking about the campaign, Harmeet Singh, Chief Brand Officer at The Body Shop India, emphasized the brand’s vision:
“With Spark A Change 3.0, we are building on our legacy of beauty with purpose. This year, we proudly introduce the Marigold range, inspired by festive traditions, alongside gifts that create deeper meaning. Our collaboration with Plastics for Change showcases how conscious business practices can protect the planet and transform lives.”
The initiative continues The Body Shop’s mission of empowering communities and promoting sustainability, making festive gifting more impactful.
04 · Actors Echo the Campaign’s Message
Actor Saiee M. Manjrekar described her experience:
“Being part of Spark A Change 3.0 has been special. The campaign captures the heart of Diwali—empathy, belonging, and togetherness. It reminds us how small acts of inclusion can light up someone’s life.”
Saachi Bindra added:
“What I love about Spark A Change 3.0 is how it goes beyond gifting to create real impact. The Marigold range is pure and joyful, and I hope people choose gifts that not only delight loved ones but also support those in need.”
05 · Changemaking Gifts Collection
Now in its third year, the Spark A Change program supports marginalized communities while spreading festive joy. This year’s Changemaking Gifts collection includes festive hampers in vibrant marigold, bright pink, iconic green, and rich red. Starting at INR 495, the range offers customizable sets, pre-packed hampers, and gift cards, making them accessible while also meaningful.
Every purchase under this initiative symbolizes love, inclusion, and a commitment to positive change.
06 · Extending Social Impact with Plastics for Change
The Body Shop continues its collaboration with Plastics for Change (PFC), a Bengaluru-based fair trade-verified recycled plastic source. Through Spark A Change 3.0, the brand is supporting sustainable livelihoods for waste collectors across India.
Last year, Spark A Change 2.0 raised donations equivalent to 19 E-tricycles, providing safer and more reliable mobility for waste collectors. This year, the campaign will extend the donation drive to fund more E-tricycles, empowering collectors with dignity and sustainable income opportunities.
With Spark A Change 3.0, The Body Shop celebrates Diwali by blending festive joy, cultural storytelling, and social impact. The launch of the Marigold range and changemaking gift sets reaffirms the brand’s vision of beauty with purpose. By supporting sustainable livelihoods and encouraging conscious gifting, The Body Shop invites everyone to celebrate Diwali with love, inclusion, and a commitment to creating positive change.
