~ Foxtale drops the second Shah Rukh Khan film in its Surface to Source push — treat the root, not the rash, and let the glow come through ~
Mumbai, September 2026: Skincare brand Foxtale has released the second film in its campaign with Shah Rukh Khan, sharpening the brand’s ‘Surface to Source’ philosophy and folding it into the larger platform ‘Let Your Glow Through’ — a non-product-led metaphor that argues visible concerns are often just the tip of the problem.
The film’s simple idea: what shows on the skin may not be where the problem begins. Instead of stacking another active on a returning concern, Foxtale says its approach is to understand the cause and work from where it starts through to the surface — a pitch that moves the conversation beyond single-SKU benefits into a brand operating system for Indian skin and climate.
The new cut lands shortly after Foxtale signed Khan as ambassador across serum, moisturiser, sunscreen and face-mask categories alongside the ‘Let Your Glow Through’ launch. The four-year-old brand claims a community of more than 10 million consumers and has stretched beyond core skincare into body care, lip care and fragrance — so the SRK association is meant to travel across a wider beauty shelf, not just one hero serum.
“We’ve always believed that skincare is most effective when you understand what’s actually causing a concern, rather than repeatedly treating what’s showing up on the surface. That’s what Surface to Source means to us. You don’t just want to manage a problem every time it appears. You want to understand it well enough to address where it begins. ‘Let Your Glow Through’ is the natural expression of that belief. We’re not trying to create a version of you that doesn’t exist. We’re trying to help your glow come through.” — Romita Mazumdar, founder & CEO, Foxtale
Marketing take: D2C beauty wins when the celebrity sells a philosophy, not a bottle — SRK’s second film keeps Foxtale in the root-cause lane, and ‘Let Your Glow Through’ turns science-backed Indian skincare into an identity play rather than another brightening claim.
