Mumbai / Bengaluru, September 2026: Private-sector lender Axis Bank and travel fintech Scapia have gone live with the Scapia Axis Bank Credit Card a digital-first co-brand that treats every eligible spend as a step toward the next trip, not just another points balance.

The pitch is simple: payments, rewards and travel live in one Scapia app. Cardholders manage spends, book flights and stays, and redeem rewards without hopping between bank and booking screens. The card is available on both Mastercard and RuPay, with UPI earning in the mix for everyday QR spends.

Onboarding opened from 3 September 2026. The proposition leans hard into travel economics: no joining or annual fee, zero forex markup on international spends, Smart Forex visibility for overseas payments, and airport privileges across lounges, dining and premium retail. Rewards run up to 20% Scapia Coins on eligible travel bookings and up to 10% on eligible everyday spends, redeemable across flights, stays, visas, experiences and shopping on Scapia.

Arnika Dixit, Group Head – Cards, Payments and Wealth Management, Axis Bank, framed the deal as more than a logo share. “Our partnership with Scapia reflects a shared focus on building products that are simple, digital-first, and closely aligned with how customers experience travel today. By combining our capabilities in payments with Scapias travel ecosystem, we aim to create a more connected experience that goes beyond traditional co-branded offerings and delivers meaningful value across the customer journey.”

Anil Goteti, Founder and CEO, Scapia, cast Axis as the scale partner for a generation already travelling hard. “Young Indians are travelling more than ever before, and we built Scapia to give them a financial product that matches that ambition. One app where they can spend, book their trips, shop for travel and earn rewards, all designed around the traveller. Our users have already taken Scapia to over 175 countries, and together with Axis Bank, we can now bring this to more Indians across the country.”

For Axis, the launch deepens a co-branded cards push aimed at younger, high-mobility spenders. For Scapia, it is the fintechs third banking collaboration — after Federal Bank and Bank of Baroda — and a bet that travel can be the wedge that wins India’s next wave of credit-card users.
