Audi India launches new Q3 at Rs 51,99,000

01 · A sharper gateway to the four rings

Audi India has launched the all-new Q3, positioning the compact luxury SUV as the brand’s most technology-forward entry point yet. The introductory price is Rs 51,99,000 ex-showroom, and the vehicle is assembled at the SAVWIPL plant in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

The Q3 pairs 150 kW of power with quattro all-wheel drive. Inside, the cabin brings a digital stage panoramic display, a head-up display and a SONOS premium sound system. Audi is loading the entry SUV with features that often become negotiation points elsewhere in the segment.

02 · Lighting and controls set the visual tone

The exterior signature comes from Digital Matrix LED headlights with micro-LED technology, four selectable daytime-running-light signatures and three dynamic light sequences. Illuminated Audi rings add a distinctive glow at the rear.

Inside, a new integrated switch module puts gear selection on the right lever and lighting, wiper and cleaning controls on the left. The digital interface pulls displays, controls and infotainment functions around the driver, while the head-up display projects key driving information into the driver’s line of sight.

03 · Why local assembly is the real headline

This is not an import story. Like its predecessor, the new Q3 continues to be produced in India at the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar facility. For Audi, that local assembly is a market signal: India is a growth market and a manufacturing and engineering hub, not just a sales destination.

Piyush Arora, MD & CEO, SAVWIPL, described the launch as a demonstration of the capabilities built within SAVWIPL. Balbir Singh Dhillon, brand director, Audi India, called the Q3 a long-standing gateway to the Audi brand in India. Viktoria Kaufmann-Reiger, senior director, sales overseas, AUDI AG, said customer ambitions and expectations are growing, and Audi wants to be positioned to grow alongside them.

04 · What brand leaders can use

  • Pair an accessible price with tangible feature proof: quattro, the head-up display, SONOS and matrix LEDs all appear in one announcement.
  • Use local assembly as commitment, not compromise, and reinforce it with executive quotes on market importance.
  • Give the update a recognisable road signature; illuminated rings and selectable DRL signatures make the change visible.
Marketing take

When you localise a luxury product, market the decision as proof of market commitment, and let the feature list carry the premium story.
