~ Volvo Construction Equipment’s “Aaj Banayein Kal” film flips India’s infra story from highway kilometres to the dreams a road unlocks — told through children’s eyes, built by operators and contractors ~
Bengaluru, September 2026: Volvo Construction Equipment has rolled out a new India campaign film, “Aaj Banayein Kal” (“Let’s Build Tomorrow, Today”), that reframes infrastructure as a human promise rather than a scoreboard of project stats.
The brand’s brief is pointed: India’s build story is usually told in kilometres of highway, tonnes from mines, and investment tallies. The film argues those numbers only matter for what they unlock — a road that shortens the distance between a child and a dream, a bridge that ties a community to opportunity.
Children as tomorrow; builders as the cast
Volvo CE tells that idea through the eyes and dreams of children — stand-ins for the tomorrow the country is assembling, one aspiration at a time. Behind each of those dreams, the campaign puts the people who actually pour the concrete and move the earth: contractors, customers and operators who turn the vision into lived infrastructure every day.
The line is both title and call to action. With Aaj Banayein Kal, Volvo CE asks every builder of the nation to treat today’s site work as tomorrow’s social contract — come together and build tomorrow, today. The push also sits ahead of the brand’s presence at Bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2026 (15–18 September, India Expo Mart, Greater Noida), where equipment and solutions for the next infra cycle will be on the outdoor floor.
In a category that often sells horsepower and cycle times, the film’s bet is emotional: make the machine line feel like the scaffolding under a child’s future — and make “build” sound like a national verb again.
