Robotics startup closes a Rs 20 lakh transaction with Aman Gupta on Shark Tank India 3

In an episode of the third season of Shark Tank India, the robotics business “Vecros” from Delhi has reached an agreement for Rs 20 lakhs with Aman Gupta, the CMO and co-founder of BOAT.

They successfully negotiated a contract with Aman for Rs 20 lakh for 1% equity and Rs 80 lakh in debt with a 10% interest rate for three years (with the option to repay the debt after a year).

The cost in terms of money, time, and lives led to the creation of Athera, the first autonomous spatial AI drone in India, which is intended to build 2D–3D maps in difficult circumstances.

With the goal of changing the world through inventive, effective, and safe autonomous flight technology, Besta Prem Sai, the CEO, and Rajeshree Deotalu, the CTO, presented their ground-breaking idea on the business reality show, hoping to secure a 2.5 percent equity investment in their venture for Rs one crore.

The experience shaped me into a resilient and articulate entrepreneur and highlighted the value of maintaining cool in high-stakes scenarios,” Besta continued.

Their ground-breaking drone, Athera, is outfitted with eight cameras, allowing it to avoid obstacles autonomously they sophisticated capabilities like GPS-denied navigation and 360-degree obstacle avoidance using computer vision.
