~ Traya Health installs a crown-revealing mirror at PVR Inorbit Malad — free, no signup, hair coach on site till 26 September ~
Mumbai, September 2026: Traya Health has parked an experiential bet in a cinema lobby: the Hair Truth Mirror, live at PVR, Inorbit Mall, Malad West. The installation is built on one blunt insight — men only ever see their hair from the front. A bathroom mirror shows the hairline and the sides; it does not show the crown. That is the part everyone else can see first.
The fix is physical, not an app. A tilted mirror above the main glass sends the view of the crown down so a visitor can see the top of his own head while he stands there — no phone, no second person. Side copy is pointed: “Your mirror has been lying to you. This mirror won’t.” A Traya hair coach is on site through the day; visitors can scan a QR for Traya’s free online hair test, with any treatment plan coming from the brand’s doctors after that assessment. Traya says its roster includes 200+ doctors and treats hair loss as a whole-body problem spanning dermatology, Ayurveda and nutrition.
Saloni Anand, co-founder of Traya Health, said: “Men rarely come to us early. In our study of over 5 lakh men found one in three of those aged 21 to 25 already had hair loss at Stage 3 or beyond. Most act only after living with it for a couple of years, they did not know this has gotten this bad point. To take action or realize you cannot see your own crown in a bathroom mirror. This mirror moves that moment earlier.”
The activation is open to everyone through 26 September 2026 — nothing to buy, nothing to sign up for. Pattern hair loss worsens when it is ignored; Traya is using mall footfall to pull that realisation forward, then route the curious into diagnosis rather than a hard sell on the spot.
Marketing take: Experiential that does one job well beats another glossy before-after reel. By making the crown visible in a PVR lobby, Traya turns a private blind spot into a public habit-interrupt — awareness first, kit second.
