~ Paragon Footwear’s Turmeriq-crafted Durga Pujo film follows the man who lays the bamboo foundation — and the daughter who sees what others miss ~
Kolkata, September 2026: Paragon Footwear is marking Durga Pujo with a brand film that looks past the finished pandal spectacle to the quiet labour that makes the celebration possible — starting with the man who lays the bamboo foundation of a neighbourhood pandal.
Sachin Joseph, Executive Vice President – Marketing and IT, Paragon Footwear, said Durga Pujo is rooted in togetherness and community, and Paragon wants to be “a dependable presence in people’s everyday lives, quietly supporting them through every step.” Rahul Guha, Founder & CEO, Turmeriq, said the bamboo-foundation worker was a natural way to look beyond Pujo spectacle, with the father–daughter relationship letting audiences discover the work’s significance along with the child.
The campaign rolls out around Pujo on digital and social, with a focus on West Bengal and audiences who live the anticipation of pandal-making as much as the festival itself.
Marketing take: Festive footwear ads often chase grandeur. Paragon is buying cultural fluency instead — selling dependability by honouring the people whose steps come before the celebration.
Conceptualised by Turmeriq, the film takes a restrained, observational cut: empty ground turns into a growing structure while everyday life continues around the builder. A thread with his young daughter gives the story its emotional layer — pride in work that festival-goers may never notice, once the lights go up.
