Macros pushes a 30-day men’s skincare habit this Diwali
Macros launches its first Diwali campaign four weeks ahead, selling men a two-step, 30-day skincare habit with family-led storytelling and a B1G1 offer.

The men’s skin fitness brand Macros is treating Diwali as a habit-building window, not a last-minute grooming deadline. Its first Diwali digital campaign, ‘Don’t Wait for Diwali. Start Your Glow-Up Now’, goes live four weeks ahead of the festival and asks men to follow a consistent two-step routine for 30 days.
01 · The timing is the message
Diwali reliably pushes appearance to the top of the to-do list, yet many men start skincare only a few days before an event. Macros is trying to flip that pattern by owning the pre-festive month, using the festive calendar as an entry point to a longer-term routine rather than an emergency fix.
The digital film and influencer-led engagement place skincare in familiar festive moments: preparing for Diwali, a sister gifting skincare to her brother on Bhai Dooj, and a wife encouraging her husband to look after his skin. That casting choice is deliberate—it makes a daily skincare habit something family members can prompt, normalise and gift.
02 · A routine simple enough to repeat
The campaign centres on a two-step protocol designed for daily use:
- Morning: Active Concentrate Gel, which combines moisturiser, sunscreen and serum in one step.
- Night: Recovery Concentrate Serum-Soaked Cleansing Wipes, which combine cleansing and serum application in a 15-second step.
A Buy 1 Get 1 Free offer, available exclusively on Macros.live, lowers the barrier to trial during the festive period.
03 · Why this matters for brand leaders
Too many festive campaigns are built to harvest demand in the final days. Macros is making a different bet: that a simplified routine, a clear time horizon and family-led storytelling can convert a seasonal spike into repeat behaviour. The brand positions skin as a functional system that can be trained, fuelled and optimised through five inputs: hydration, detox, protein, defence and repair.
Founder Vivek Kaimal frames the job as confidence that outlasts the lights and sweets. ‘Men are becoming more conscious of how they look and feel, but skincare still tends to take a backseat in their daily routines,’ he says. Festivals may be the occasion, he argues, but the aim is to make skincare an integral part of how men show up for themselves.
04 · What to borrow from the playbook
For CMOs planning their own festive calendar, the Macros campaign is a useful test of three levers: open the pre-occasion window early, simplify the product story to a repeatable routine, and recruit the people around the customer—family, partners, siblings—as the prompt. The B1G1 gives an immediate reason to start; the 30-day frame gives a reason to continue.
Festive marketing does not have to choose between the sale and the habit. The brands that sequence them—trial now, routine through the season—may keep the customer long after the diyas go out.
