Gulf Pride Unveils “Kuch Behad Kar” Platform with MS Dhoni — Ambition Over Engine CC

~ “Sapna CC dekh kar nahi aata,” a 360° push, and MS Dhoni’s long-running Gulf Pride face for a new ambition platform ~

Mumbai, September 2026: Gulf Oil Lubricants India has put a sharper cultural stake in the ground for its flagship motorcycle oil, Gulf Pride, with “Kuch Behad Kar”—a new positioning platform fronted by long-standing brand ambassador MS Dhoni. The line moves the conversation from engine capacity to rider ambition, built around the insight “Sapna CC dekh kar nahi aata.”

The brand frames India’s everyday riders as people who already push modest machines past what they were built for—through city traffic, rural loads, small-business runs and long rides—and argues that performance oil should keep pace with that mindset, not wait for a bigger bike. Gulf Pride’s Oxybitor technology is cast as the product proof behind that story: pick-up and engine performance sold as an advantage for riders whose ambition outruns their CC.

Ambition over engine size

Ravi Chawla, managing director & CEO, Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited, said performance itself has shifted meaning. “Gulf Pride has always stood for performance. What’s changed is what performance means to today’s rider. It’s no longer about engine size, but about the determination to go further, whatever machine you’re riding. ‘Kuch Behad Kar’ sharpens that belief into a platform, and reflects our conviction, as a challenger brand, that every rider deserves an engine oil built for their ambition, not just their engine capacity. This is central to how we see Gulf Pride’s next phase of growth in India.”

Aarthy Sridhar, chief marketing officer, Gulf Oil Lubricants India Limited, cast the platform as cultural positioning rather than a product lecture. “Cultural positioning has never mattered more than it does today, showing up in the real conversations that reflect people’s lives and realities, not just telling them what a product does. For young India, that means ambition outpacing resources, captured in ‘Sapna CC dekh kar nahi aata.’ Gulf Pride aims at democratising performance by bringing a conversation once reserved for high-CC, premium motorcycles to the everyday commuter. With ‘Kuch Behad Kar,’ we want Gulf Pride to stand for performance without limits.”

360° platform, MTV Hustle and #BehadStories

“Kuch Behad Kar” is rolling out as a 360-degree campaign across TV, digital, social, retail and on-ground activations. The platform also plugs into MTV Hustle Season 5—talent needs a stage, not a pedigree—and plans a longer digital run through #BehadStories, a nationwide search for real riders, dreamers and doers whose journeys carry the same limitless-ambition brief. Agency Curativity conceptualised and directed the work, with Dhoni’s small-town-to-global arc used as the human mirror for Gulf Pride’s performance-without-limits bet.
