FLITE’s festive film: footwear refresh for repeated outfits
FLITE's festive 'Style Ka Naya Andaaz' film with Ali Fazal and Sanya Malhotra sells outfit repeats by changing the footwear, not the wardrobe.

As the festive calendar fills with weddings, parties and family get-togethers, one question keeps returning: how many times can the same outfit be repeated? FLITE, the family fashion footwear brand from Relaxo Footwears, is answering with the festive edition of its “Style Ka Naya Andaaz” campaign.
Ali Fazal returns alongside brand ambassador Sanya Malhotra in a film that follows a couple juggling back-to-back invitations. Instead of buying a new outfit for every event, Fazal introduces FLITE’s Buckle Collection as the smaller change that makes a familiar look feel different. The campaign line is built around “same dress ko naya bana dega.”
01 · The insight: change the footwear, not the wardrobe
The film positions footwear as the fastest styling refresh for repeated occasion wear. Different buckle styles become the variable that lets one outfit move from a wedding to a party to a family gathering, without a new purchase for every invite. It’s a deliberately low-effort proposition—and that is the point.
Gaurav Kumaar Dua, Co-Chief Executive Officer and Whole Time Director, Relaxo Footwears Ltd., said the campaign was designed around “a fun, practical solution,” adding that the right footwear “can instantly transform an outfit.”
02 · Why this matters for brand leaders
The campaign is less about launching a big range and more about owning a specific occasion. FLITE is not telling consumers to spend on a new outfit per event; it is telling them to spend once on a versatile change and use it across functions. That is a practical value proposition for a season built on frequency.
For marketers, the film shows how a relatively low-involvement category can still find an emotional benefit:
- Name the tension in the consumer’s language. “Same dress ko naya bana dega” is more memorable than a generic festive greeting.
- Make the product the smallest intervention. The pitch is a buckle change, not a wardrobe overhaul.
- Let continuity do the casting work. Retaining Sanya Malhotra and adding Ali Fazal keeps campaign equity while increasing festive energy.
03 · Read it through jobs to be done
The consumer is not only hiring a pair of footwear to “complete an outfit.” They are hiring it to solve the problem of looking put-together at back-to-back celebrations without replacing the wardrobe. FLITE’s film makes that job explicit before it shows the product, which is why the line works.
That distinction matters: once the job is defined, the product can be shown as the easiest way to get it done, and the creative platform can be repeated every festive season without reinventing the message.
04 · The marketing take
FLITE’s festive edition turns the familiar guilt of repeating an outfit into a styling choice. The brand doesn’t have to promise a total transformation. It has to own the smallest change that makes the next invitation feel new.
