Discover Akind: Tira’s New Skincare Brand Co-Founded by Mira Kapoor

Tira, Reliance Retail’s omnichannel beauty retail platform, proudly launches its skincare brand, Akind.

The ever-stylish Mira Kapoor co-founded Akind and unveiled it at Tira’s flagship store at Jio World Drive in Mumbai, bringing a fresh wave of skincare innovation to the market.

Personalized Skincare for Every Individual

Akind stands out by recognizing that everyone’s skin is unique and deserves personalized care. The brand aims to simplify skincare by responding to individual skin needs, empowering people to achieve their skincare goals.

Moreover, each product in the Akind range focuses on enhancing skin barrier health and categorizes into three distinct ranges:

First, the BUILD Range includes the Clean Slate Hydrating Cleanser, the On Cloud Nine Lightweight Moisturiser, and the Sleep Tight Firming Serum. These products work together to repair and restore the skin barrier to its natural state.

Next, the BALANCE Range features the Fresh Start Oil-Free Balancing Cleanser, the Bounce Back Soothing & Purifying Toner, and the Get Even Everyday Multi-Active Serum. This range helps maintain the skin’s gentle equilibrium, promoting a healthy, lit-from-within glow.

Finally, the DEFENCE Range is designed to protect the skin barrier from external aggressors. This range includes the Bright Idea Radiance Serum, the No Shade Sunscreen Primer SPF 50 PA++++, and the Super Smooth Sun Stick SPF 50 PA+++.

Commitment to Innovation and Excellence

Isha Ambani, executive director of Reliance Retail Ventures, stated, “We are thrilled to introduce Akind, Tira’s first skincare brand in our own brands portfolio.

This launch marks a significant milestone in Tira’s journey. Furthermore, as we continue to expand and evolve, we remain committed to innovation and excellence, ensuring that every offering enhances our customer’s beauty experience.”

Mira Kapoor’s Vision for Akind

Mira Kapoor, co-founder of Akind, shared her personal skincare journey, saying, “Not too long ago, I realized that my skincare journey truly began when I started listening to my skin.

We meticulously formulated the Akind range with care, trial and error, and extensive research into high-efficacy ingredients that act as targeted solutions for specific problems.

What better way to bring this vision to life than powered by Tira, the ultimate destination for curated beauty brands?

With Akind, I want to share the joy of skin type agnostic, barrier-focused, high-performance, and price-conscious skincare that helps one meet the best version of their skin, just like I did.”

Expanding Tira’s Beauty Horizons

Following the launch of Tira Tools, a premium line of curated beauty accessories, and Nails Our Way, an exclusive line of nail colors and kits, Reliance Retail continues to broaden its beauty and personal care offerings.

The introduction of Akind as its first skincare brand underscores Tira’s commitment to providing high-quality, diverse, and trend-setting products.
Moreover, with Akind, Tira continues to revolutionize the beauty industry by offering products that cater to individual skincare needs. Additionally, Mira Kapoor co-founded Akind to empower individuals to achieve their best skin, making it a must-try for anyone looking to enhance their skincare routine.
