~ Country Delight’s new digital film with Vijay Sethupathi turns a father-daughter doodle into a milk nostalgia cue — Pazhaya Pazhakkam. Puthiya Thodakkam ~
New Delhi, September 2026: Country Delight has rolled out a new digital ad film starring Vijay Sethupathi, built around childhood nostalgia and the everyday habits families quietly drop as kids spend more time on phones. The thought is simple: some things do not need to be rediscovered — they can be returned to.
The story opens on a playful father-daughter exchange sparked by a child’s drawing, a cow, and a humorous take on dinosaurs, before landing on a familiar cue — the taste of milk from childhood. That sip triggers a memory of a habit left behind while growing up, and the film folds the moment into the line ‘Pazhaya Pazhakkam. Puthiya Thodakkam’ — an invite to restart habits from simpler times.
Alongside Sethupathi, the film features Anandhi Ajay, Ardra Narayan, Arnav Vineeth, Vijayalakshmi and Karthik. It is directed by Rajesh Ramaswamy, scripted by Balaji Ramesh, with Om Prakash as DOP and creative producers Hari Prasad Uday, Farooq Mohammed and George K Antony.
Blending family humour with childhood memory, Country Delight places a familiar product inside a nostalgic home setting. Growing up need not mean leaving every childhood habit behind — and a familiar taste can be the trigger that brings those moments back.
Marketing take: Nostalgia works hardest when it starts as play, not a lecture. Country Delight and Sethupathi use a doodle, a dinosaur gag and a milk mustache to sell a return to simpler habits — and make the brand feel like the taste that starts it.
