Athiva Pulse film puts 30,000 sq ft of wellness into daily life
Chalet Hotels extends 'Joy is on the House' with a nature-doc-inspired Athiva Pulse film that reframes wellness as everyday life, not an escape.

01 · A wellness film that skips the spa cliché
Chalet Hotels Limited has released a new brand film for Athiva Pulse Navi Mumbai, Autograph Collection, extending the “Joy is on the House” platform it first introduced in 2025. The campaign, unveiled in Mumbai on 16 October, was created by AlterType India.
02 · Nature documentaries, not hotel brochures
The film’s creative device comes from an unexpected place: nature documentaries. It follows urban achievers moving through demanding workdays and personal commitments, framed as people searching for their “natural habitat.” The narrative asks how surroundings shape the way people live, feel and recharge—and whether a space can be designed to support that.
03 · Wellness as routine, not reward
The sharper strategic move is how the campaign positions wellbeing. Rather than presenting it as an indulgence or an escape from daily life, the film treats it as something woven into the day itself. The messaging invites the audience to reconsider their environments and how those spaces can support existing commitments instead of interrupting them.
That positioning is backed by the property’s offer: 30,000 square feet of wellness and recovery facilities, curated evening experiences, thoughtful menus and stays built around wellbeing. The target audience is specific—business travellers and Navi Mumbai residents who want experiences that complement their pace rather than slow it down.
04 · One platform, every touchpoint
The campaign extends across the brand film, print, out-of-home and social media. That integrated rollout mirrors the central idea: wellbeing should feel continuous and embedded, not limited to a single ad or a single stay moment.
“At Athiva, we believe wellbeing should be part of how people live, not something they have to make time for separately,” said Rachit Gupta, vice president, marketing and sales, Athiva Hotels & Resorts.
Siddharth Loyal, managing director at AlterType India, said the work builds on “Joy is on the House” from the perspective of the business traveller and the Navi Mumbai wellness enthusiast, adding that the imagery and messaging are “a sharp departure from hospitality clichés.”
05 · Why this matters for brand leaders
For India’s hospitality marketers, the film signals a shift in how wellness is being sold. The classic escape fantasy—spa robes, silence, an empty beach—still works for leisure getaways. But the urban business audience is time-poor. The insight here is that they are unlikely to pause their ambition, yet will upgrade the spaces they already occupy.
- Wellness is moving from an escape narrative to an integration narrative.
- A single, unexpected creative reference—nature documentaries—can cut through a category full of similar imagery.
- Extending an existing platform is cheaper and more consistent than launching a new one each year.
The marketing take: when the whole category sells escape, sell the everyday—wellbeing as part of the routine, not time off from it.
