Campa Energy Ajith Kumar Racing 65000 sq ft Chennai mural Indiranagar Metro — mam mark

Chennai, September 2026: Campa Energy has turned a wall at Indiranagar Metro Station on OMR into a stop-and-share magnet: a 65,000 sq. ft. mural celebrating Ajith Kumar Racing that, per the brand, has already sparked 500+ pieces of user-generated content and nearly 60 million views across Meta and YouTube. The installation is visible from flights approaching or departing Chennai — scale as spectacle, not just square footage.

The brand deliberately stays out of the hero seat. Instead, the activation stitches three local pulls — Ajith Kumar, motorsport and street art — so fans own the frame. Visitors stop to photograph and film the artwork, then push it online themselves, giving the physical site a second life as fan media.

The mural was conceptualised and executed by 108 Collective, with several of the artists themselves Ajith fans. Ground production ran 45 days with a 21-member team including infrastructure crew; Mudra Ventures backed regulatory expertise and on-ground coordination, according to Adgully’s report of the brand’s activation.

Marketing take

Campa isn’t buying another pass-by board — it’s building a destination fans want to frame, film and feed. When OOH becomes UGC infrastructure, the wall is the medium and the fanbase is the media plan.
