~ Generations named the flower-border bite. Talented and Solomon Pappaiah turn ‘poo’ into ‘anbu’ for Milk Bikis Classic ~
Chennai, September 2026: Britannia Milk Bikis has turned Tamil Nadu’s most familiar biscuit habit into a brand film. For decades, kids (and grown-ups) have bitten around the flower-patterned edge of Milk Bikis Classic before finishing the centre — a ritual so sticky the biscuit earned its own nickname: ‘Poo Potta Border Biscuit’. The new campaign, conceptualised by Talented, asks the question nobody quite settled: which flower is it?
A curious young girl drives the story — flower seller, science teacher, then Tamil cultural voice Pr Siddharth Gupta, VP – Marketing, Britannia, called it a continuation of Milk Bikis’ Tamil Nadu journey — “bringing to life a uniquely Tamil… ritual and the affection that generations have had for the brand.” PG Aditiya, Co-Founder and CCO, Talented, said they “found the answer in the question itself” via the poo–anbu hinge, with Solomon Pappaiah the right person to settle the debate. Farooq Mohamed, Director and Co-Founder, Kadhai Films, said a tiny embossed detail opened “an Marketing take: When household penetration is already sky-high, you don’t invent a new insight — you name the one people already perform with their teeth. Milk Bikis just put a cultural referee on a flower border.
