~ Archies becomes Elephant Parade’s official India distributor — rainbow art elephants for gifting, décor and Asian elephant conservation ~
New Delhi, September 2026: Archies, one of India’s best-known gifting and lifestyle brands, has partnered with Thailand’s Elephant Parade, the global art brand and social enterprise, to bring its painted elephant showpieces to India. Under the deal, Archies will be the official distributor in the country — folding an international collectible into the local gifting aisle just as festive shelves start to fill.
Elephant Parade treats the elephant as a miniature canvas: artists and designers cover each sculpture in their own colours, patterns and stories, so no two pieces feel interchangeable. Designs sit across gifting, home décor and collectibles, with standout pieces such as “Colour of Love” — a rainbow of hearts meant to signal love, happiness, positivity and togetherness.
Jeannette Brüske Woelinga, General Manager – Asia & Middle East, Elephant Parade, said: “Archies is a natural partner for Elephant Parade as we share a strong passion for creativity, meaningful gifting and products that tell a story. We are delighted to have Archies as our official distributor in India and look forward to bringing our colourful elephant creations and the story behind them to consumers across the country. With Archies’ strong retail presence and understanding of the Indian gifting market, we are confident this partnership will help us reach many more people and make Elephant Parade a cherished part of gifting and celebrations in India.”
The line also carries a conservation brief. Elephant Parade was inspired by Mosha, an Asian elephant in Thailand that lost part of a leg to a landmine; a portion of proceeds from the initiative supports Asian elephant conservation. For Indian shoppers, that frames the sculptures as more than shelf décor — gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, housewarmings and festivals that come with a cause story baked in.
Varun Moolchandani and Hanisha Gandhi, Executive Directors, Archies, said: “At Archies, we have always believed that memorable gifts are those that carry a story and emotion. Elephant Parade brings this together through colourful, artistic sculptures, with each design offering a unique expression alongside a meaningful message around elephant conservation. We are excited to bring this distinctive international concept from Thailand to India and see strong potential for the collection across gifting, décor and collectibles.”
Marketing take: In a category crowded with soft toys and generic décor, Archies is importing a story-led collectible — art plus conservation — to refresh festive and occasion gifting before Diwali season peaks.
