airpay money makes financial health a festive ritual

airpay money has launched Safalta Ka Sukoon, a festive campaign under its umbrella initiative Tyohaar Aapka. Zimmedari Humari. The idea: success feels complete only when it is looked after—so the festive season should include a few minutes of financial reflection, not just celebration.

At the centre of the campaign is the app’s Financial Health Check, a feature built to turn that reflection into a simple, personal score. The tool works in the app and on the web, drawing on what users share about their income, savings, insurance coverage, liabilities and investments. It then produces a Financial Health Score with a snapshot of key areas such as insurance, investments and emergency savings.

01 · A quieter festive story

The campaign film, produced by The Bombay Digital Company, follows a man walking through his home on a festive day. He pauses at photographs from the early years of his career, then, as dusk falls, opens the Financial Health Check on the airpay money app. The film frames the resulting clarity as confidence and reassurance rather than a transaction.

Arhaan Shaikh, co-founder of The Bombay Digital Company, described the creative brief in one line: “Real success is not only what you build, but how well it is looked after.”

02 · Why it matters for festive marketing

Indian festive advertising is crowded with discounts, offers and urgency. airpay money is taking the opposite route: it is making financial wellness a seasonal ritual. That is a useful positioning move for brand leaders. Instead of competing on price, the brand competes on meaning—and gives consumers an actionable reason to open the app.

Kumar Binit, CEO of airpay money, said the festive season is when families take stock of the year gone by. The campaign, he added, is designed to introduce “one more ritual”: a few minutes to understand one’s own financial health. “Real financial wellness begins with awareness,” he said.

Shreyas Deshmukh, AVP Marketing (B2C), airpay, put the central question plainly: “Do you know where you stand with your money?” The Financial Health Check, he said, is built to answer that in a few minutes.

03 · What to do about it

  • Map your campaign to an emotional ritual, not just an occasion.
  • Let a real product feature carry the story instead of forcing a celebrity moment.
  • Give viewers one simple question your product can answer immediately.

The campaign is live on social media, with an OTT release planned as part of the next distribution push.

Marketing take

A feature becomes festive creative when it is framed as a ritual of reflection, not a transaction.
