QWEEN’s ‘Drama QWEENS’ — Jewellery Takes a Back Seat to Women’s Conversations
Ten-episode Instagram microdrama puts ambitions, labels and film-club friendships first — jewellery rides along as part of the story, not the plot

Noida, September 2026: Jewellery brand QWEEN has launched Drama QWEENS, an original Instagram-first microdrama that flips traditional jewellery advertising — women and their conversations lead, while jewellery sits naturally inside their world instead of starring as the product pitch.
The 10-episode series casts Diljot Chhabra as Noor Baig, Simran Natekar as Anaya Bajaj, Samvedna Suwalka as Natasha Prabhu, Priya Banerjee as Isabella Patel and Rytasha Rathore as Aashi Paswan. Ages span 22 to 39, across professions and life stages, bonding through a film club that becomes the lens for choices, struggles and the labels they carry. Each character maps to a QWEEN brand persona — Gala Grandeur, Party Girl, Untamed in Love, Femininity Reclaimed and I Want It All — already given dedicated zones in QWEEN’s Noida store.
Episode one follows a bride-to-be who refuses to turn her wedding into a performance for guests she barely knows. Episode two pairs 22-year-old Anaya and 39-year-old Natasha over a Shah Rukh Khan nostalgia debate that slides into the timelines and tags women are expected to wear — from “too young” to “crazy, hot, divorced woman with opinions.”
“With Drama QWEENS, we wanted to turn the lens around. If jewellery advertising has traditionally told women when they need jewellery for a wedding, a milestone, a celebration or because someone else is buying it for them — we wanted to start somewhere else: with the woman herself. The woman is the protagonist. Jewellery is part of her story, not the reason for it.” — Amit Kumar, Co-founder and CEO, QWEEN
Marketing take
Content-as-brand for jewellery usually still ends on the product close-up — QWEEN’s bet is that owning the private conversations women already have will sell more identity than another wedding montage.
