~ New sparkling water brand SIX6R launches Classic, Lemon and Peach at ₹79 a can — carbonated water and fruit flavour only, pitched as a diabetic-friendly habit for sugar-wary India ~
Mumbai, September 2026: Clean-label sparkling water brand SIX6R has launched in India at ₹79 a can, betting that young consumers will trade sugary soft drinks for a simpler proposition: carbonated water and natural fruit flavour, with no added sugar, sweeteners or preservatives.
The lineup opens in Classic, Lemon and Peach. Distribution is live D2C via the brand’s site nationwide, and from 1 September 2026 across Mumbai at Nature’s Basket and Society stores. A pre-launch push at St. Xavier’s Malhar Festival helped seed a 20,000-strong social community around an unapologetic, youthful Indian tone of voice.
Karan Nohria, co-Founder, SIX6R, said: “SIX6R was created because we saw a very real gap in the beverage aisle. If you are trying to stay away from sugar, it can be surprisingly difficult to find a drink that is genuinely clean, tastes great and still feels exciting. We wanted to change that. SIX6R is made with carbonated water and fruit flavour, with no added sugar, sweeteners or preservatives, making it diabetic friendly. We created it with the intention that even people who need to be mindful of their sugar intake can enjoy a drink without the usual sugar spike and crash associated with many beverages. For us, this is not about making another beverage, it is about creating a better everyday drinking habit.”
Rashi Oberoi, co-Founder, SIX6R, said: “SIX6R was never meant to be just another beverage brand. It is an expression of the confidence, energy and attitude that India does so well. We wanted to create something that feels unmistakably Indian and genuinely relevant to young consumers, from the way it looks and tastes to the way it speaks. We’re a country that’s practically addicted to sugar, and our beverage aisle is broken: if you’re off sugar, it’s genuinely hard to find something clean to drink. SIX6R is the answer for all of those people. It’s the new habit India has been looking for.”
‘Sugar-free’ shelves are crowded with sweetener stacks. SIX6R is selling the opposite flex — a short ingredient list and a festival-to-retail path that treats clean-label as culture, not just claim.
