~ Krea8 turns Lava brand hesitation into the launch line — and Lava Virat sells out its Flipkart stock on day one ~
Mumbai, September 2026: Independent creative agency Krea8 has built the launch communication for Lava Virat on Flipkart around a blunt campaign thought — “Shaq Hatao, Lava Uthao.” Instead of leading with specs and price tables, the work starts where many shoppers actually stall: doubt about the Lava brand itself.
Conventional smartphone launches crowd the feed with comparisons. Krea8 flipped that habit. The brief treated consumer hesitation as the creative problem — name the barrier, then move people from perception to consideration and, ultimately, to the buy button on the same platform where the phone went live.
Timing mattered. The campaign ran alongside the product’s Flipkart launch, so the line and the checkout sat in one journey. As per data shared by Krea8 on the campaign page, Lava Virat sold out its full stock on the first day of the Flipkart launch — an early commercial marker even after allowing for product, pricing and demand as co-drivers.
Krea8 is only six months old, but its founding team brings experience from more than 70 smartphone releases over the past five years. Lava Virat is among the first independent campaigns where that category muscle is applied under the new agency model.
Kirti Doshi, Founder and MD, Krea8, said: “India doesn’t need another agency that simply adds to the noise. At Krea8, we’re building an agency that understands the business problem as deeply as it understands the creative opportunity. Our edge lies in bringing consumer insight, culture and commerce into the same conversation, without compromising on the quality or ambition of the idea. Campaigns like Lava Virat’s ‘Shaq Hatao, Lava Uthao’ are a good example of that approach. We started with a real consumer barrier, turned that hesitation into a creative idea, and built communication that could move people from perception to consideration and action.”
For a crowded handset market, the bet is clear: sell the permission to pick Lava up, not another feature checklist.
Marketing take: Spec sheets don’t clear brand doubt. Krea8 made “shaq” the plot — then parked the ask on Flipkart, where day-one sell-out gave the line a commercial receipt.
