Ugaoo’s ‘Tiger Aisa Kyun Hai?’ Turns Jackie’s Plant Babies Into Father-Son Comedy

~ Ugaoo puts Jackie and Tiger Shroff in a humour-led ‘Tiger Aisa Kyun Hai?’ film that blames childhood plant rivalry for Tiger’s backflips — and sells easier plant parenting ~

Mumbai, September 2026: Gardening brand Ugaoo has launched ‘Tiger Aisa Kyun Hai?’, a father-son comedy film starring Jackie Shroff and Tiger Shroff. The hook rides Jackie’s well-known plant obsession: Tiger’s fitness, backflips and quirky personality are framed as the fallout of competing with Dad’s “plant babies” for attention.

Told through Tiger’s childhood memories, the film exaggerates Jackie rushing to save plants in a storm and fussing over greenery while the kid fights for the spotlight. The payoff lands the brand line: plant care used to demand everything — today Ugaoo makes plant parenting simpler, so parents might have more time for their actual children.

Creative partner Kulfi Collective built the story around what already feels true about both stars. “Jackie sir’s love for plants is already such a recognisable part of who he is, so we wanted to build the story around something that felt equally true to Tiger… plant parenting today doesn’t have to demand quite so much of you,” said Akshat Gupt, Director, CEO and Co-founder, Kulfi Collective. Digital media partner is White Rivers Media.

Siddhant Bhalinge, Founder & CEO, Ugaoo, said the film was meant to make ease feel fun: “At Ugaoo, we’ve always believed that plant parenting can be easy and enjoyable… using Jackie’s genuine and well-known love for plants as a starting point, with Tiger adding his own perspective.” Jackie, associated with the brand for over a year, added that the synergy is personal — plants have always been a big part of his life.

Ugaoo leans on the portfolio behind the joke: 100+ indoor plants, XL plants, pots across ceramic to self-watering formats, organic fertilisers, soil mixes and tools, plus a 30-day plant replacement guarantee, 21 experiential stores and a 25-acre Talegaon farm, with reach across Blinkit, Amazon, Flipkart and more.

Most plant brands preach mindfulness. Ugaoo just cast India’s most famous plant dad against his action-star son — and sold ease as the punchline.
