Campus puts a Sunday meeting at the centre of its rebrand

Somewhere in corporate India, a boss has called a Sunday meeting. The employee, Rohit, shows up — and brings his Sunday along. Pottery, a workout and an impromptu party join the boardroom, and the longer the boss fumes, the clearer the point becomes. That scene sits at the heart of Campus Activewear’s new integrated campaign, starring Vicky Kaushal and extending the footwear brand’s ‘Move Your Way’ philosophy.

01 · A workplace tension, played for laughs

The film is built on the thought, “One bold move can move the world your way.” It lands on familiar corporate anxieties: Sunday work calls, unwritten office rules and the quiet pressure to always say yes. When the boss accuses Rohit’s generation of having no boundaries, Rohit’s answer is simple — if he is expected at the office on a Sunday, he might as well bring his Sunday activities with him. The film ends with Rohit walking out with his friends, Campus footwear on display.

02 · Why a footwear brand is claiming the boundary conversation

Campus Activewear’s Chief Marketing Officer, Gaurav Sharma, positions the film as more than a product spot. “’Move Your Way’ has always been about self-expression,” he said. “With this film, we’re taking it somewhere braver: the right to draw your own lines.” For CMOs, that is the strategic move worth studying: the brand is naming a generational mood — young India redefining ambition on its own terms — and aligning itself with it. Vicky Kaushal said he liked how the campaign takes “a familiar part of everyday life” and gives it “a fun, unexpected twist,” calling Rohit unapologetically himself.

03 · A new identity that carries the same thought

The campaign also marks the debut of Campus Activewear’s new visual identity. Dynamic lines and outward-facing arrows are meant to signal movement, individuality, freedom and self-direction. The rebrand is not a separate exercise; it is the visual proof of the very idea the film dramatises. Sharma describes it as “bolder and more confident, as we move into the next chapter of the brand.”

04 · What brand leaders can take from it

The campaign will run across television, OTT and digital, supported by creator-led content that invites audiences to share what ‘Move Your Way’ means to them under #MoveYourWay. Three choices stand out:

  • It dramatises an insight through a character rather than stating it as a claim — Rohit embodies the boundary the audience wants to draw.
  • It ties the rebrand to the campaign thought, so the identity proves the promise instead of decorating it.
  • It uses humour to name a sharp cultural tension without lecturing.

The open question for marketers is whether footwear is the natural home for a workplace-boundaries debate, and whether the product stays memorable after the laughter. The brand is betting that standing beside a generation drawing its own lines is worth the stretch.
