Axis Bank and Visa offer up to 20% off festive spends
Axis Bank and Visa launch a Shahid Kapoor-led festive campaign with over 100 deals and up to 20% off credit card purchases and EMIs.

Axis Bank and Visa have launched their festive credit-card campaign, ‘Iss festive season, har khushi ko banao badi’, as part of Axis Bank’s Dil Se Open Celebrations 2026. The film stars Shahid Kapoor and builds on a small, magical idea: a little girl places objects inside a dollhouse and they appear in the real world, turning imagination into festive reality. Shahid uses his Axis Bank Visa Credit Card to make each transformation happen.
01 · The offer behind the magic
The campaign does not stop at warmth. Axis Bank and Visa are running more than 100 festive offers across electronics, mobiles, travel, lifestyle and shopping. Eligible Axis Bank Visa credit-card holders can access discounts and EMI benefits, including up to 20% off on credit card purchases and EMIs, subject to terms and conditions.
Participating brands include:
- Electronics: LG, Samsung and Sony
- Shopping and lifestyle: Burberry, Boss, COACH and Tory Burch
- Travel: MakeMyTrip, ixigo and Air India
- Mobiles: vivo and OPPO
02 · Why the structure matters
Axis Bank’s Group Head for Cards, Payments and Wealth Management, Arnika Dixit, said customers increasingly look for cards to deliver value that is relevant to how and where they spend. During the festive period, she added, relevance, choice and flexibility become more important because spending stretches across different needs and occasions. The campaign’s logic follows that insight: an emotional story opens attention, and a broad deal structure gives the card a reason to stay relevant.
The idea also extends Axis Bank’s ‘Dil Se Open’ philosophy: financial products should feel emotionally accessible, not merely transactional. By anchoring the credit card inside a child’s wish, the campaign positions the card as an enabler of celebration rather than just a payment tool.
Axis Bank CMO Anoop Manohar said festivals are about celebrating people, moments and little joys, and the film pushes that thought further by making those moments more special. Visa’s Head of Marketing for India and South Asia, Gaurav Ramdev, framed the partnership as a way to make festive moments and celebrations ‘truly special’. The original score by Amit Trivedi supports the film’s celebratory tone.
03 · What brand leaders can borrow
Conceptualised by Leo India, the campaign is digital-first and will run across owned and paid digital platforms, social media, outdoor, direct-to-customer touchpoints, ATMs and Axis Bank’s branch network. The playbook is visible: a familiar face for attention, a visual metaphor for emotion, and a specific benefit for conversion.
For festive marketing, the risk is that a strong story buries the offer. Here the dollhouse carries the memory, while the 20% and the 100-plus deals supply the reason to swipe. Lead with the wish, then deliver the mechanics that make it feasible.
